3. HOGAN Follow-Up Discussion (up to 60 mins): With James Flanagan via MS Teams, from Monday, 2 December to Friday, 6 December.
4. Group Assessment via MS Teams (90 mins): Set for Wednesday, 11 December 2024.
5. Interviews (75 mins each): Scheduled on Wednesday, 11 December, and Thursday, 12 December 2024.

Person Specification

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work independently and make recommendations to employing or contracting organisations based on sound judgement and policy interpretation.
• Practical experience managing complex performance cases.
• Understanding of improvement tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of NHS strategy and policy agendas.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, and conflict management skills for addressing controversial service improvements or organisational changes.

Desirable

• Proven track record of national networking.

Experience

• Experience managing performance concerns within regulatory frameworks, including Performers Lists and Maintaining High Professional Standards (MHPS).
• Practical experience in handling complex performance cases.
• Significant success in senior managerial or clinical roles.
• Recent experience at a senior level with a proven ability to drive change using professional knowledge.
• Experience facilitating and managing organisational change.
• Collaboration experience with senior managers and leaders.
• Good understanding of educational and management strategies for addressing poor performance.

Desirable

• Previous experience within the NHS.
• Proven track record of successfully collaborating with staff to implement change.

Qualifications

• Doctorate-level education or equivalent knowledge, experience, and competency.
• Background or experience in medicine, HR, dentistry, pharmacy, or legal fields.

Knowledge & Understanding

• In-depth knowledge of Performers List and/or Maintaining High Professional Standards (MHPS) as they relate to managing performance concerns.
• Understanding of principles related to equality and diversity promotion.
• Familiarity with confidentiality policies and procedures
